Ticket for "An American in Paris"

from 12.00

Tickets have become available for the screening of "An American in Paris" which is being shown at Cineworld in Witney on Tuesday 7th May at 7.00pm.

Having taken Broadway and the West End by storm, the Tony® Award-winning musical “An American in Paris” will now be able to be enjoyed from the comfort of a local cinema screen.

With the music and lyrics of George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin (including hits ‘S Wonderful and I Got Rhythm), book by Craig Lucas and direction and choreography by Christopher Wheeldon, An American In Paris is inspired by the Oscar® winning MGM film, and tells the impassioned story of discovering love in the ‘City of Light’ in 1945.

Jerry Mulligan is an American GI striving to make it as a painter in a city suddenly bursting with hope and possibility. Following a chance encounter with a beautiful young dancer named Lise, the streets of Paris become the backdrop to a sensuous, modern romance of art, friendship and love in the aftermath of war.

Tickets are £14.10 for adults and £12.00 for children, senior citizens and students.
