Lorraine Razzell (Principal)


Lorraine started dancing at the age of 3 at her local dance school where she completed RAD and ISTD examinations in Ballet, Tap, Modern, National and Classical Greek. She also took part in numerous performances and competitions, including the prestigious All England Young Dancer Competition.  At the age of 18 she went on to train at the Royal Academy of Dance in London where she completed a BA (Hons) degree in the Art and Teaching of Ballet.

After graduation Lorraine joined the contemporary dance company Three-Fortyone Dances as well as took up numerous teaching positions in West London. She also worked at the vocational performing arts' school, Urdang, teaching on both the diploma and degree courses and managing part time courses and outreach programmes. Most recently Lorraine has been running the dance department at St James Schools, London.

When she is not teaching Lorraine lives with her partner James and two cats Louis and Oscar. She enjoys Pilates, Yoga, cooking, gardening, walks in the countryside and dancing!
